Dan Oliverio / Chaser

For over a decade, Dan Oliverio has been writing and speaking about the issues that come up for people when fatness and sexuality meet. His unique seminars given at conferences in cities across the U.S. examine the particular challenges faced by fat people and the people who seek them out as sexual and romantic partners. He examines these relationships from the context of what it’s like to live in what he calls “a taboo conversation." His unique perspectives have brought him to be featured on MTV’s True Life, the Tyra show, The Huffington Post, and several American and European documentaries. His book, The Round World: Life at the Intersection of Love, Sex, and Fat, is the first book to explore fatness from the perspective of the people who find it erotic and seek fat people as romantic partners. By discussing prejudices, medical issues, kink, as well as proposing new models for sexuality, the book is a primer on loving yourself as you are, fat or not.

Trevor Kezon / Chub

Trevor Kezon is a Chicago-born writer who currently resides in Los Angeles. He primarily writes fiction for young audiences, and his nonfiction has been featured in the New York Times. In his free time, he dabbles in sumo wrestling, baking, and witchcraft. He’s married to co-host Dan Oliverio and plays Dungeons & Dragon with his other co-hosts, Michael and Don. He hopes that sharing his experiences as a fat gay man will give comfort and laughter to the community at large.

Michael Willer / Chaser

A film editor by day and a writer/director by night, Michael has been building his career in the film industry of Los Angeles since 2011. When he’s not on set, you might find him playing soccer for ClubWaka or running role-playing games like D&D for his friends. Putting his voice into the world of podcasting was intimidating, but the subjects surrounding fat in American society are too important and close to his heart to go unexplored. His hope for The Big Fat Gay Podcast is to reach those that need it most: young chasers and chubs in places that may not have a friendly voice to reassure them that they’re not alone.
